Description: This webinar will provide an overview of the law related to liens in North Carolina. Learn about mechanics liens and liens for fixtures, steps that creditors must take to perfect and enforce their liens, and how liens interact with other secured debt, including purchase money mortgages and judgment liens, extended in connection with the consumer’s home. The presentation will conclude with tips for obtaining relief in bankruptcy court and a question-and-answer session. The webinar will also provide information and updates on the law, as well as practice tips, making this presentation useful to new attorneys and those with some lien familiarity.

Presenter: Sharon Dove is an attorney in the Gastonia office of Mullen Holland & Cooper PA, where she focuses her practice on bankruptcy law.
