RE:
Open House on March 18th at Legal Aid of North Carolina-Smithfield Office
(Smithfield, NC) – Legal Aid of North Carolina's Smithfield Office
will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Thursday March 18 with an
open house, 3:00-5:00 PM, at its new office, 300-A South Third

“2003 was a very eventful year for us in Smithfield,” noted Vilma Suarez,
managing attorney of the Legal Aid of North Carolina-Smithfield Office.
“It was our 25th full year that we have provided free legal services for
low-income people through an office in Smithfield. We also
moved into our new office in early December and want to show it to the public.”
In honor of both events, Legal Aid of North Carolina welcomes the public to its open
house event. Refreshments will be served, and staff will be
available to explain the legal services offered by Legal Aid of North Carolina.
The new office is located on the same site as its former office at the corner
of Church and Third Street, two blocks from the Johnston County Courthouse.
