The Environmental Pro Bono Initiative is a group of private, government and non-profit attorneys from across North Carolina who are interested in environmental issues. These attorneys have volunteered their time to provide FREE or low-cost (“pro bono”) legal services to low-income residents of North Carolina.

The Environmental Pro Bono Initiative is coordinated by LANC's  Environmental Poverty Law Project and sponsored by Legal Aid of North Carolina and the Environmental Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.

If you have an environmental concern and think you may qualify for our services, then:

  •   Gather as much information about the problem as possible

If you are an attorney who is interested in becoming part of the Environmental Poverty Law Project, please contact us at 336-272-0148 or E-mail us directly: eplp@legalaidnc.org.
