What is in this for volunteer tax preparers?
After training, TAP volunteers become tax preparers
certified by the Internal Revenue Service. Lawyers and paralegals
earn pro bono credit (includes training hours plus tax preparation
session hours.) Most important, you can be part of keeping a family
from losing their home, providing food and clothing for children or
helping a family move toward financial independence.
