and presentations concerning legal services for low-income people

Tax Assistance Project ("TAP")
Legal
Aid of North Carolina has formed TAP (Tax Assistance Project) to
help families with low to moderate income with their income tax
preparation. Many will qualify for the "Earned Income Tax
Credit" (EITC) and may receive tax refunds.

Fellowships
Legal Aid of North Carolina presently offers two fellowship programs:
Internships
Internships, such as the
Martin Luther King Jr.
Summer Internships, are available at Legal Aid of North Carolina during the summer
months for law students who want to gain experience working in a
public interest setting and desire an opportunity to do more than
just legal research.
