About Us...

The staff of Legal Aid of North Carolina - Winston-Salem Office provides legal assistance in civil matters (non-criminal matters) to eligible, low-income clients who have problems with their basic needs and live in the nine-county area surrounding Winston-Salem, NC: Alleghany County, Ashe County, Davie County, Forsyth County, Iredell County, Stokes County, Surry County, Wilkes County or Yadkin County.

Local Advisory Council (LAC)

The Local Advisory Council (LAC)is comprised of volunteers who live in the communities served by the Winston-Salem Office and who are dedicated to ensuring equal access to justice.
