ACS helps access community-based services when traditional social work fails. ACS does not "defend" against charges or monitor compliance with probation.

Cases that involve mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and substance abuse Cases that involve education issues such as reinstatement, special education and learning disabilities Cases that involve family issues such as inadequate parenting and violence at home Cases of clients who are financially eligible for free legal services
Research and common sense show that these types of problems exacerbate and contribute to repeat instances of offending behavior. Solving these problems decreases the likelihood the youth will encounter the justice system again.
