Clinic Coordinator

Summary

Legal Aid of North Carolina seeks someone with a passion for social justice and helping others in need to join our Helpline office in Raleigh as a part-time clinic coordinator. The clinic coordinator will help our Helpline staff recruit and support a network of community partner organizations that is crucial to the success of our self-help clinic program, which provides educational legal presentations to locations across the state from our Helpline office in Raleigh. The clinic coordinator will help create new presentations and written materials necessary to supplement the information provided during the clinic presentations. No legal knowledge or experience is required.

Our Helpline team performs centralized intake and eligibility screening of all potential clients. 

Responsibilities

  • Contact and onboard new community partners around the state to act as broadcast locations for Legal Aid's series of community education presentations

  • Assist with publicizing the community education presentations

  • Provide supportive services as needed to the Helpline staff and community education team

  • Coordinate logistics around new and existing locations for community education presentations

  • Update existing and help in creating new content and videos for community education presentations 

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Experience recruiting, selling, or collaborating with external partners

  • Experience with video creation or editing is preferred but not required

  • Works well in a team-based environment

  • High school education is required, Associates Degree is preferred

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred

Salary

$15.30 per hour, 28 hours per week. This is a permanent position.
