ABOUT

Program Overview:
The Ethics of Data Privacy for Lawyers Webinar will address how North Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct apply to the use of technology by attorneys. We will also discuss some challenging hypothetical scenarios likely to be encountered by attorneys when using computers or mobile devices for work, and what to do to prepare for or recover from such events.  Covered scenarios include: losing your mobile device in a public place, the use of your mobile device by children or family members, using unsecured/unencrypted email accounts for work, and the use of document preparation software with change tracking capabilities.  We have also reserved time for questions at the end of the presentation.

Please note: We have been informed by the Bar that partial credit is not allowed for this CLE. You will have to attend the entire CLE to get credit.
