Policy on Employee Complaints
Note: This policy was recommended by the Operations Committee
and adopted on December 10, 2004 by the Legal Aid of North Carolina Board of Directors.
Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc. has an “open door” for employees
to address concerns or questions about its policies, activities or practices. Employees are encouraged to raise such questions or concerns with
their local managing attorney, the regional manager and/or the Executive
Director. LANC will not retaliate or subject the employee to any adverse
action for making a good faith complaint under this policy.
