McAuley Blue named managing attorney of Legal Aid of NC’s
Greensboro
office

NC) –
Janet McAuley Blue is the newly appointed managing attorney
of the
Greensboro
office of Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC).
She had been serving as the interim managing attorney since June
2008.
In her new position, McAuley Blue will manage all aspects of
the LANC law practice in the Greensboro
area and supervise a 19-member staff, including eight attorneys and
six paralegals.
Immediately following her graduation in 1980 from the University of
NC School of Law, McAuley Blue joined the staff of Central Carolina
Legal Services in Greensboro.
During the 1997-98 academic year, she also served as a visiting
clinical associate professor at the University of NC School of Law.
McAuley-Blue has served as a supervising attorney with the
LANC-Greensboro Office since 2000.
McAuley Blue is also a member of the NC Bar Association and the NC
Advocates for Justice.
"Our goal at the Greensboro Office of Legal Aid of NC is to provide
the highest quality legal representation to our low-income clients,”
McAuley Blue said, “and to make our clients and the community aware
of the legal issues that affect low-income residents of our service
area."
