Auley M. “Lee” Crouch, III elected to board of directors of Legal Aid of NC

NC) –
Auley M. “Lee” Crouch, III of Wilmington was
elected for a three-year term to the
board of directors of
Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC)
during the 2008 LANC Annual Meeting in
Pine Knoll Shores, NC.
Crouch will serve on the LANC Board as a representative from the
NC
Bar Association.
Crouch is an attorney and partner in the law firm of
Block,
Crouch, Keeter, Behm & Sayed, LLP
in Wilmington, and is a 1976 graduate
of the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, IL.
Among his professional associations, Crouch is a member of
the
NC Bar Association, the NC State Bar and
the NC
Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has been certified as a mediator since
1993 and was a member of the Duke Private Adjudication Center panel
of mediators for five years.
Crouch has an active mediation practice, regularly participates
in mediation training programs and is an arbitrator with
The
Arbitration Group. He has been active in local and state bar
organizations, having served as president of the Fifth Judicial
District Bar in 1995, and currently serving as a member of the
Construction Law Council of the NC Bar Association.
Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC)
is a statewide, nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services
in civil matters to eligible, low-income people in all 100 counties
in North Carolina
through 24, geographically located offices in North Carolina. LANC’s clients
typically have an annual income of 125% or less of the federally
