  • Landlord/Tenant Clinic (Housing Law)
         (Every Wednesday at 3:00 PM)
    This clinic is designed to prepare clients to represent themselves at a Summary Ejectment Hearing.  In the clinic, the following topics will be covered:
        >  What to expect at the hearing;
        >  Filing an Answer and Counterclaim;
        >  How to appeal; and
        >  Answer basic questions regarding the eviction process.

    This clinic is intended for individuals who have been denied Medicaid based on a Social Security Disability application.  In the clinic, participants will discuss the following:
        > How to appeal a denial;
        > How to request medical records;
        > How to organize medical evidence; and
        > Answer basic questions.

    ...This clinic will assist individuals who have been served with a “Motion to Claim Exempt Property” after a money judgment has been entered against them.  We will provide the individual step-by-step instructions on how to fill out the forms. We will also discuss the following: 
        > Asset limits;
        > Rules of procedure that have to be followed when filing
           and serving the forms; and
        > Other detailed information on how to protect your
           property.
