Through
our
Community
Education
Program,
the
Farmworker
Unit
provides
information
about
farmworker
issues
such
as
pesticide
safety,
housing
regulations,
wage
problems
and
other
topics
important
to
agricultural
workers.
We
believe
that
farmworkers
and
their
families
will
be
better
able
to
defend
their
rights
if
they
are
informed
about
the
law
and
how
to
access
the
legal
system.
The
Farmworker
Unit
has
met
with
parents
at
migrant

schools,
groups
in
waiting
rooms
at
migrant
health
clinics,
congregations
of
Spanish
speaking
churches,
and
farmworkers
living
in
remote
labor
camps.
